Great thick reeds up to my knees
Egyptian birds and Egyptian bees
Pharaohs going by on water skis

Fresh water's what I lack

For one thing I feel thirsty
or another thing I feel hot
And some folks like to feel that way
but I myself do not!

That's why we're off to see the Sphinx
To give her those gifts, ask what she thinks!
