Yesterday I hit the ground
and now I can't stop falling
a pot of gold came tumbling down
a recipe for balling

and I know why we ran bone dry
we never touched down from sky

a candle burns through a storm
a fighter takes the bull by horn
another song is slowly born
another heart string is torn

and I know now how to fall down down
how to fall to touch down

the tears come either way
for different reasons when I'm with you

but time is just another chain
