They buried me up to my neck
in the dry December ground
The cold came up to get me
Blinded me in this land

The Queen was in the picture frame
in the weatherboard schoolhouse
And I wondered what she was doing hanging there

They banished us to desert lands
we never understood
To share it with the bones of dinosaurs
