i don t wish you were dead anymore

Bowling For Soup

You know I only want what's best for you
And I hope you do well, in everything that you do
And it's a funny thing but now that you're gone
I don't wish you were dead anymore

I hope you're doing fine
I hope you've found the time
To chase that dream
I wanna see you shine
You were always on my mind
And my heart's on my sleeve
You know what I mean

You know I only want what's best for you
And I hope you do well
In everything that you do
And it's a funny thing but now that you're gone
I don't wish you were dead anymore

Remember hangin' out
There was never any doubt
You were on my side
Know you slived in the past
Should've known it wouldn't last
Nothing good ever does
But that's alright

You know I only want what's best for you
And I hope you do well
In everything that you do
And it's a funny thing but now that you're gone
I don't wish you were dead anymore

I think about the times we had
And when you left me I was lost
Girl, I miss you so bad
I was out of my mind for sure
No matter what I said I don't wish you were dead anymore

I hope you're not alone
I hope you've found a home
That you can live in
Me, I'm doing good
In the old neighborhood
So please don't come back
Never comeback

You know I only want what's best for you
And I hope you do well
In everything that you do
And it's a funny thing but now that you're gone
I don't wish you were dead anymore
I don't wish you were dead anymore
I don't wish that you were dead anymore
